Customer reviews for Credit Karma on websites like Consumer Affairs or Better Business Bureau (BBB) are mostly negative and with many consumers saying they feel like Credit Karma didn’t give them an accurate report on their Credit Score. Keep in mind these reviews are on Credit Karma’s credit score service, given its auto insurance services are brand new.

Many negative complaints said that its customer service is not accessible, and some complaints from consumers said they were charged for the services they used. Those who complained that they weren’t given an accurate score said that while they would receive high scores on Credit Karma, when they went to a bank or lender they would be denied and told they actually had a very low score, or sometimes no credit at all.
