Las Vegas skyline

As a renter in Las Vegas, it's important to have renters insurance, but you want to make sure you buy a policy from the best Las Vegas renters insurance company. Renters insurance is an affordable option that protects your rental property, however you must be careful when shopping around for rates. The average rate of renters insurance can be as little as $18 per month, but we recommend not buying renters coverage based on the price only.

When you rent an apartment, your landlord has insurance that covers damage to the building you're living in, but your personal items are not covered by that policy. Renters insurance exists to cover your items from perils in your apartment like fire, theft or vandalism. It also offers you liability protection if someone is injured in your apartment. Additionally, a standard renters insurance policy covers additional living expenses if your home becomes unhabitable and also pays for medical expenses if someone is injured on your property.

It can be hard to choose a renters insurance company to insure your personal belongings with, but we created a list of the highest rated insurance companies for Las Vegas according to customer reviews. Additionally, we included rates of eight of those top Las Vegas companies.
